TAD measures dimensions with respect to intersection points formed by an object intersecting another object/set of objects.

To measure horizontal dimensions:

1. From the Create menu, click Create new object.
2. In the Create objects window, under New enter Name of object.
3. Enter Width.
4. Enter Height as '0'.
5. Click Create.
6. Place the object such that it intersects all the objects whose dimensions you wish to measure.
7. In the site info pane, under Info, select Show dims.

To measure vertical dimensions:

1. From the Create menu, click Create new object.
2. In the Create objects window, under New enter Name of object.
3. Enter Width as '0'.
4. Enter Height.
5. Click Create.
6. Place the object such that it intersects all the objects whose dimensions you wish to measure.
7. In the site info pane, under Info, select Show dims.
