Our unique UI system

Ribbon bars and Menus
TAD has 2 different UI's – By default, in a fresh installation, it starts with a ribbon bar system. All the actions being carried out are all laid out in those ribbons.

When there are NO models open, you can go to the “Help” ribbon or menu and there is an item there to toggle the UI – so you can easily try out both the UI. TAD remembers the last UI you had used.

TAD does not have any nested menus (i.e. submenus that open up inside a menu) so whatever icons/buttons that you see in both the Menu UI syste or the Ribbon bar UI system; they cover all the functionality that the program needs.

It is extremely easy to learn what each icon/button/menu-item you encounter. Just click on it and then click on the Context help (the heart with clasping hands) and you will be able to read what that UI element did! Same is the case with various mouse gestures inside the application. (You would need Internet to display the context-sensitive help)

Ribbon bars UI
The ribbon bar or the tabbed UI has a collection of icons/buttons categorized as per various functionality that you may need inside TAD. To reduce the amount of time switching between various tabs (ribbons) commonly used icons/buttons are repeated cleverly on several of them

Menu UI
When you switch to the menu system, you would see drop down menus as seen in conventional MDI applications. You will also see draggable toolbars – you can easily drag and dock those toolbars as per your convenience or even keep them floating on your monitor
