To snap the architect perpendicular to the helpers:

1. Move the helpers such that the line created by joining the helpers has a point where you want to place the architect.
2. On the Snaps menu, click Snap to perpendicular foot. The architect moves perpendicularly to the two helpers. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + F.
