Tad Workbook

Did you know you can easily work on an Excel workbook right inside TAD? No, you don't need to have Excel for doing this. TAD has its own simple version of a spreadsheet that is fully Excel compatible

Use it to transfer data from the model – such as areas, dimensions etc. Double-click on the relevant line in the Info pane and it would get transferred to the spreadsheet. Similarly, you can transfer some selected text in the Ardela results window by either right-clicking on the selection when pressing the “ALT” key. Or use the button available in that window.

Not all the spreadsheet formulas of Excel are supported. But quite a lot of them are. See the entire list here:

https://wiki.freepascal.org/FPSpreadsheet:_List_of_formulas

The Excel file can be saved and loaded from within the interface.

TIP: If you want to print the spreadsheet, save it as an HTML file. Then that file will open in your regular browser and you can print it from there, or you can copy-and-paste it into other applications such as a word processor, etc.
