Printing to multipage output

Now you can create PDF and SVG files to scale!

A neat TAD Multipage Output system helps you output your current TAD model to various types of file outputs, such as PDF and SVG. You can set the resolution (DPI or dots per inch) and create any number of pages (for PDF, the multiple pages are created at one shot. But for SVG you would need to create the output for each page individually)

The output pages can receive inputs from multiple TAD files too! Just choose the appropriate TAD model window, and send its data to the TAD Multipage Output The graphic data would be deposited into the selected page there. Note that ONLY visible objects would get sent to the TAD Multipage Output You can further refine the kinds of objects that are to be outputted in the TAD Multipage Output E.g. You can ask it to output only the selected objects, etc.

You can also print the title of each page into the PDF at the correct font-size. Long titles may get wrapped.

Once all the data has been sent, then you should go thru each page to ensure that all the scale settings are as per your desire. Then Click on the large button “Create Output” in that dialog; and viola! TAD would create the file for you!

Each drawing is centred on the page. Once you send the output to the Multipage system, the scale of printing, title, etc can be changed at the last moment, before the “Create output” button is clicked.

Note the kinds of output
PDF = multipage i.e. ALL the pages would get printed
SVG = the page that is selected in the TAD Multipage Output dialog will get exported to SVG. You would need to repeat the process for each of the pages there. SVG output does not contain titles.
