TAD invoked from within a browser page

When you install TAD; it also install a customized protocol for the browsers on your machine. It will respond to special links inside the browser. For example click the link below (but make sure that TAD is open and also there is a TAD model that you are currently working on)

click here to create a new polyline object right now, at the location of the architect

In your installation, there is a special example of such an HTML file which has such formatted links. It is called tadprotocol.html You can drag and drop that file into your browser and explore the links in them. TAD will work magically based on which link you clicked.

Note: This will only work provided you installed TAD using the supplied installer. During installation, this custom protocol handler gets created in the Windows registry

Now open that file inside a text editor and see for yourself how that file was written. You can write your own HTML pages in a similar way; and if the computer where the browser displays your file has TAD; then the same magic can happen.
