<title>Mirroring activities in TAD at a web page</title>

From Version 6.7.5.1 we have introduced a new feature which can be quite powerful: When working inside TAD; you can assign a setting so that snapshots of the work that is being done by you can be taken.

During the beta-testing of this feature; these tokens are free: Obtain a special mirror token from https://tad.in.net/goodies ~

Paste the mirror token into the correct location in the Program Settings

In future; these tokens may be sold for a small price; and then such a token can only be used for one session on TAD

The screenshots are saved in the sub-folder “captures\screens” in the bin folder where TAD has been installed on your computer. The “screenshotting ” is not automatic Remember to press Ctrl-Alt-M and silently a screenshot would be made.

Note that it captures whatever which is present on the screen; as per the dimensions you specify. So if there is some other app/dialog coming inside those dimensions; even those would get captured.

You can sync that aforementioned folder using Google Drive "Backup and Sync"; and then use Google Drive's share feature to create a special web-page to view those screenshots.

Such a special web page can also be embedded in the Riot.im messaging system; and there multiple people can not only see the ongoing activities but can actually chat too! If you do not want to use Riot; you could simply share that Google special page link to others – and they can send in comments

Some of the use cases of this feature:

  • a) Architect can share the ongoing session with a client
  • b) Main architect can supervise work that is going on in his/her office

In future we also plan to allow our users to share the vector data of the ongoing session; for a more powerful collaboration
