Authentication

To use our software and several other utilities in this project; you need to have an account at our TAD Community at Discord.

When you had filled the registration form, an email was sent to you detailing the steps you need to take. The very first step that email gives you is this invitation link to get a membership into the TAD community.

https://discord.gg/KxuHQax

You would need to be part of that community. Click on that and become part of our community. Even if you do not plan to use TAD but if you are interested in architecture, the way we look at it; please join!

When installing TAD, It will authenticate you during the installation itself. You will need to give the username and Discord ID that was set for you at Discord. No email address or password would be used. Sometimes people get confused by the Discord ID – where is that? See this very short video

In versions earlier to 6.8.1.2 the authentication was checked within TAD Designer Lite on its first run. That is no longer needed, as the installation procedure does that– you can straightaway use TAD Designer Lite for the next 30 days. Thereafter, you would need to authenticate again once ever 30 days; but that happens when you run TAD Designer Lite.

Read more notes on authentication when you have time.
